The search for a performer to play the human lead in the film was exhaustive. After a month of searching, we found Casey and he immediately understood the tone of the film. Casey had plenty of experience working with VFX and inanimate characters, and he had the technical finesse to organically pull it off. While being incredibly collaborative, he also happens to be a very nice guy. That goes a long way.
